I have put a few videos of my work out there, but nothing showing a bit of progression to it. I am taking my time with this piece, & wanted to share a bit of how I create. I don't sketch much out on a piece, since I always feel like it is just getting covered up in the end. Lately, I have been trying to put at least an outline in before starting since my goal is to keep adding more depth to my art, but my desire to just start always wins. Enjoy, and I hope you like the song. It's one of my favorites.

I’m a chemist turned photographer and had worked in research labs, for tech companies, and large corporations. I was well on my way to a successful career in chemistry, but I gave it up to pursue photography.
A couple years ago I had the opportunity to switch careers so I took it. If I didn’t give photography a chance I know looking back I would regret it. I love photography: studying the images of respected photographers, learning more about the art, and telling stories with photographs. I enjoy working in all genres of photography: portrait, documentary, product, commercial, editorial, wedding, food, etc. But most importantly I enjoy working with passionate people. I have learned that the people you work with make the difference between a great and terrible job, regardless of the actual work. I am available for photography assignments, so if you have a photography need lets collaborate and create what you want. Dave http://davefranz.com/ Thank you Coffee Time! http://coffeetimepdx.com/ |
