ANNA TRELLA RUTH
Hi! My name is Anna. I work in tech by day and paint by night, both in this beautiful Nob Hill neighborhood -- and often here at Coffee Time. I love making art in many forms, and have been focusing on watercolor and ink in the last few years since my move to Oregon from Pennsylvania. I enjoy the endless color experiments and love to play with the natural effects of water. I often add salt to my pieces -- I love the way it pushes the pigment around and leaves beautiful trails, bleeds, and speckles. Much of this body of work has a whimsical feel, inspired by the playful nature of watercolor and by my time spent living on a sheep farm south of Eugene (especially those chickens!)
